Drummer, composer, producer and electronic musician Moses Boyd makes music which bridges influences from jazz, grime and club music. An in-demand player and producer for other people, he leads groups The Exodus and Solo Exodus. He’s also worked and collaborated with the likes of Lonnie Liston Smith, Little Simz, Four Tet and Sampha.
His most recent release is the ‘Absolute Zero’ EP, released in August 2017. Marking a fast rise, he’s received awards from several different places. He won the John Peel 'Play More Jazz’ Award at 2016’s Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards, the Best Jazz Act at the 2015 MOBO Awards, and the Young Jazz Musician of the Year at the 2014 Worshipful Company of Musicians Awards.
