Ezra Collective are a band with a sense of purpose. Their music has absorbed influences ranging from Afrobeat to reggae and hip-hop, marrying ultra-tight musicianship with a London-born swagger. Started in 2012, they’ve headlined Islington Assembly Hall, played at legendary venues like Ronnie Scott’s and the Royal Festival Hall, as well as touring as the live band for hip-hop MC Pharoahe Monch.
In 2017, they released their debut EP ‘Chapter 7’, the first window into their dance-minded, rhythmically-rooted approach. It was followed by the ‘Juan Pablo’ EP, released in late 2017, taking that musical mindset to a new level: a cosmic journey that crosses spheres of influence, eras and tempos.
